Over the course of his career in the hospitality and entertainment industries, Sid Vaikunta has participated in the development of many exciting venues, including mur.mur in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Built during a $200 million expansion of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in 2006, mur.mur became the first bottle-service lounge and club in Atlantic City. Alongside MIXX, a club and restaurant, it helped the Borgata develop a reputation as a great place for a night out.
Inspired by other VIP clubs and lounges in New York and Las Vegas, mur.mur was designed with a more intimate feel than MIXX. The 8,300-square-foot club, with a capacity of 608 people, is intended to take bottle service to the next level. It occupies three levels and features two bars, a DJ booth, VIP coves, and a sunken dance floor decorated in sumptuous style. Its sound system was designed to provide crystal-clear, warm music by Sound Investment and Philadelphia Sound Productions, and its lighting centers on a display of 50 LED globes hanging from the ceiling.
